The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation today announced it has joined hands with Casa Árabe, a Madrid-based not-for-profit establishment, to enhance culture cooperation between Spain and the Arab world.


Casa Árabe is an international institute active in Arab and Islamic world studies. It was created with the mission to strengthen and consolidate Spain's multifaceted relationship with Arab countries, and to promote its role as an academic reference on the history and current affairs of the Islamic world.

Yasser Hareb, Vice President for Culture, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, and Gema Martin Munoz, Director General of Casa Árabe, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during a ceremony attended by Manuel Pineiro, Ambassador of Spain.

LONDON Lamtara Pictures, the shingle behind popular animated skein "Freej" have inked a deal with U.A.E.-based real estate company Tatweer to develop a four million sq. ft theme park based on the hit show.

The entertainment destination will be located in Dubailand, the 3 billion sq. ft. mega-project launched by Dubai Sheik Mohammed to turn the emirate into one of the world's premier tourist destinations.
